TAGAP is a 2-D shoot-'em-up that plays more like a first person shooter than its traditional genre. Mad scientist Doctor Glowenko plans to take over the world using his army of bio-engineered cybernetic penguins. A clone of one of his creations named Pablo doesn't buy the plan and escapes. Unfortunately, he's soon chased by the whole gang led by general Pedro.

The story is pretty funny with sick and funny situations like drug abusing penguins (check out the special effects when Pablo consumes a pill) and a huge zombie penguin army, commanded by General Penguinator. The game also introduces a cool feature that lets you replay old levels with the weapons and upgrades you have earned in the current level.

In addition to the main sniper rifle, there is a rocket launcher and a grenade gun. You can also pick up power-ups that give you different elemental properties. The heat core, for example, increases the ratio of fire to ammo, while the frost and electro cores freeze and stun enemies respectively.

The graphical style is also very well done and features plenty of pixel art that blends nicely with the game's old-school feel. The soundtrack is equally cool with catchy tracks that perfectly fit the action on screen. The only problem with TAGAP is that the gameplay can be somewhat repetitive and there's not a lot of variation between the levels. However, if you can look past this then the game is fun to play.
